• The disc may be upside down.

• Replace the disc if it is scratched, warped, or nonstandard.
• Condensation may have formed in the player due to a sudden change in

temperature. Wait about an hour for it to clear and try again.

• Wipe the disc with a soft cloth if it is dirty.

• Check the disc. If it is a DTS CD, it cannot be played.

• This unit is unable to decode DTS signals.

• The disc is dirty. Wipe it with a soft cloth.

• A problem has occurred. Turn the unit off and unplug the AC cord. Wait a
moment and then plug the cord in and turn on the unit again. If the unit is still
not working correctly, call 1 -800-211 -PANA for support.
• A problem has occurred with the tray mechanism. The tray will open
automatically. Take out the disc and close the tray. The unit will make the
disc changing noises for a few moments and then should operate normally.
• Reset the unit to its original factory settings.
Do the following to restore the unit to the condition it was in at the time of
shipment. This clears the ratings settings.
Press [ ■ ] on the main unit and [>10/ENTER] on the remote control at the
same time for about 3 seconds until the message “Initialized” disappears
from the television screen.

• The selected languages are not recorded on the DVD or the DVD has been

designed to automatically play a certain language.
