Press CD.
The power will come on automatically.
Press ^ OPEN/CLOSE to open the CD lid.
Insert the CD with label facing upward.
Press ^ OPEN/CLOSE to close the CD lid.
Total number of tracks and total playing time will appear on the
display.
Use ^ OPEN/CLOSE at all times.
The lid opening mechanism can be damaged if you attempt to
open and close the lid by hand.
Press >/B 0.
Play will start from the first track on the CD.
Play will stop automatically when the last track on the CD fini¬
shes playing.
^ Adjust the volume.
To stop the CD
Press EJ.
To pause
Press >/l D during playback.
To resume playback, press l>/DI.
To search forward/
backward
Hold down -/hk 3/« (backward)
or +/»/»! (forward) during
playback or pause mode.
To skip forward/
backward
Press -/h>K/« (backward) or
-f-/»/>w (fonward) during
playback or pause mode.
When “ ^ ” appears on the display
This indicates there are 13 or more tracks on the CD.

• During random play (page 13), you cannot skip to tracks which
have already been played.
• During program play (page 14) or random play, you cannot search
forward or backward over tracks.
• During program play, skipping is always in the programmed order,
whether forward or backward.
One-touch play
When the system is OFF, playing starts automatically when you
press >/D I.
For your reference
•The units turns on when ^ OPEN/CLOSE is pressed. The lid also
opens.
olf you press >/DI instead of ^ OPEN/CLOSE after inserting a
CD, the lid will close and play will start directly from track 1.
To prevent damage □
Do not use irregular shape CDs.
