Q Sound Quality
You can choose one of four types of sound quality.
® Heavy/XBS: Adds punch to rock
® Soft: For background music
© Clear: Clarifies higher sounds
@ Vocal: Adds gloss to vocal
Press [PRESET EQ] to select a setting.
Each time you press the button:

Using an external unit
Listening to an external source

© Press [cb/l] to turn on the unit.
© Press [AUX] to select “AUX”.
® Start playback from the external source. (Refer to your
equipment’s operating instructions.)
Recording from an external source
© Insert the tape to be recorded on.
© Press [AUX] to select “AUX”.
® Press [•REC/II] (recording starts).
@ Start playback from the external source. (Refer to your
equipment’s operating instructions.)
Listening with headphones
Reduce the volume level, and connect the headphones,
Plug type: 3.5 mm stereo.
Avoid listening for prolonged periods of time to prevent
hearing damage.
