External music device
You can play music from an external music device.
Preparation
• Switch off the equaliser (if any) of the external music
device to prevent sound distortion.
• Decrease volume of the unit and the external music
device before you connect or disconnect the external
music device.

1 Connect the external music device.
Hold the unit when connecting or disconnecting the
device.
Plug type: Ø 3.5 mm stereo (not supplied)
2 Press [SELECT/- PAIRING] repeatedly until the
AUX indicator lights up.
3 Play the external music device.
To adjust the input level
Press and hold [D.BASS] and [ILLUMINATION] for a
minimum of 4 seconds to set the input level.
High: AUX indicator blinks 2 times.
Normal (default): AUX indicator blinks 5 times
Note:
• Read the operating instructions of the external music device
for details.
• Components and cables are sold separately.
• You can control this unit using the “Panasonic MAX Juke”
app (~8).
Others
Auto power down
This function will automatically switch the unit to standby
mode if there is no sound and it is not being used for
approximately 20 minutes.
Press and hold [D.BASS] and [2/3] for a
minimum of 4 seconds.
On (default): D.BASS indicator blinks 2 times.
Off: D.BASS indicator blinks 5 times
Note:
• When this function switch the unit to standby mode while
charging a smartphone, the charging will continue until the
smartphone is fully charged.
• You can change the settings using the “Panasonic MAX
Juke” app (~8).
Bluetooth
®
standby
This function automatically switches on the system when
you establish a Bluetooth
®
connection from a paired
device.
1 Press [SELECT/- PAIRING] repeatedly to select
Bluetooth
®
mode.
2 Press and hold [SELECT/- PAIRING] and
[ILLUMINATION] for a minimum of 4 seconds.
On: Bluetooth
®
indicator blinks 2 times.
Off: Bluetooth
®
indicator blinks 5 times.
Note:
• Some devices may take longer to respond. If you are
connected to a Bluetooth
®
device before switching off the
system, wait for a minimum of 5 seconds before connecting
to this system from your Bluetooth
®
device again.
• You can change the settings using the “Panasonic MAX
Juke” app (~8).
Demo play
The unit will play the built-in demonstration song for
one minute.
Press and hold
for more than 2 seconds.
Demonstration song is played.
To cancel, press the button again.
Software update
Occasionally, Panasonic may release updated software
for this unit that may add or improve the way a feature
operates. These updates are available free of charge.
