Checks after installation
After installing the Alkaline Ionizer, run alkaline ion water through the unit for about 3 or 4 minutes to
expel the air inside the main unit.

main spout?

 Is the water supply hose bent or fl attened.
 If it is, straighten it out.

Is water coming out of the
acidic water spout when
alkaline ion water has passed
through the Alkaline Ionizer?
Acidic water spout
 Are the acidic water and drain hoses bent or fl attened?
 If they are, straighten them out.
 Have the acidic water and drain hoses been connected properly.
 If not, check their connections to the acidic water stand.

 Does “Reduce fl ow” appear on the LCD display?
 If so, gradually reduce the fl ow at the faucet until the display
is cleared.
 If water coming out of the acidic water spout is interrupted,
increase the height diff erence of the main spout and acidic
water spout.

Is any water leaking
from where the bypass
selector is connected?
 Has the bypass selector been installed securely on the faucet?
 Check again the instructions for “Attaching the Bypass
Selector”, and install it securely.
 Have the parts inside the bypass selector been inserted
properly?
 If not, install them properly.

 Are there any cracks at the end of the faucet (in the insulating
cap, for instance)?
 Consult a plumber.

Is there any water leaking
from where the water supply
hose is connected?
 Has the water supply hose been attached securely to the
bypass selector?
 Insert it as far as it will go, and use the hose fastening nut to
secure it.

from where the outlet pipe
is connected?
 Has the outlet pipe been attached securely to the unit?
 Insert it securely as far as it will go.
 Is the gasket installed on the outlet pipe or is it twisted?
 Install the gasket properly.

Is water leaking from the faucet?
 Is the gasket on the faucet old?
 Consult a plumber.
 Are there any cracks in the faucet (in the insulating cap, for
instance)?
 Consult a plumber.
