Quick Start Guide
HD ready
HD ready means the ability to display high-definition
pictures from HDMI and Component video inputs.
V-real 2
V-real 2 technology is the collective name for
original technologies developed by Panasonic
to enhance total image quality:
V-real 2 PROCESSOR: Enhance and output the incoming
video signals as high-image-quality signals. The resulting
video signals deliver the kind of high resolution that large
screens require.
V-real 2 DRIVER: Precisely controls panel drive to
optimise its performance. Achieves high image quality
with the equivalent of high steps of gradation.
V-real 2 PANEL: Provide clear, vivid display of the video
signal after processing by the V-real 2 Processor and
Driver.
High contrast
Contrast is the difference in light intensity
between the brightest white and the darkest black
that the VIERA can produce. The ability to express rich, deep
blacks is extremely important for displaying beautiful pictures.
High gradation
Gradation refers to the smoothness of colour
expression.
Rich, fine gradation is extremely important for maximising
the high resolution panel.
Lead-free display
All VIERA plasma display panels are
lead-free. This reduces the impact on the
environment when recycling or disposing of them in the
future.
High Contrast
MAX.
