Adjusting the volume
1. Press the volume key + to increase the volume. Press the volume key - to decrease the
volume.
Note Press the volume key in the idle mode if you want to adjust the ringer volume. If you want
to set it to the vibration mode, press the volume key all the way down until the mode appears.
Setting silent mode
1. Tap Settings > Sound > Silent mode. All other functions accept the media volume and
alarms are silenced if you select this option.
2. Tap Silent mode again to activate all functions.
Entering text
Enter messages for SNS or type a keyword to searching for in the Internet, using the virtual
keyboard.
Entering text for messages
1. Tap on the screen for a message: a virtual keyboard appears on the screen.
2. Enter a message. As you keep typing a word, suggested or related words appear below: tap
one that you find appropriate.
• If you want to correct a typo for a word, tap on the screen where you want to edit and
the cursor appears on the screen. Correct the word.
• If you want to change a whole word, press and hold the screen and tap Select word.
indicates the start point of the word to be changed; indicates the end point.
