3.2 Preparation
Checkthecompressorhousing,thepowercordandthepower
plugfordamageeverytimebeforeusing.Makesurethatthe
localsupplyvoltagecomplieswiththevoltagedatamarkedon
thecompressoridentificationlabel.Onlyusethecompressorif
allcomponentsareintact.Thecompressormustnotbeoper
atedifthedeviceorthepowercordisdamaged,orifdamage
issuspected(e.g.,afterithasfallenorifthereisasmellof
burningplastic).
Preparethedeviceforaninhalationsessionasfollows:
• Assemblethenebuliserasdescribedintheinstructionsfor
useofthenebuliser.
• Attachoneendoftheconnectiontubingtothenebuliser.
• Attachtheotherendofthecon
nectiontubingtothecompressor.
Thetubeconnectorscanbeinser
tedmoreeasilyiftheyaretwisted
slightlywheninserting.
• Insertthenebuliserintheholderonthecompressorinten
dedforthispurpose.
• Fillthenebuliserasdescribedintheinstructionsforuseof
thenebuliser.
