3. Steam sterilisation
Equipment:
– Steam steriliser (preferably with fractionated pre-vacuum) in
accordance with DINEN285 or DINEN13060 (TypeB)
– Sterile barrier system in accordance with DINEN11607
– Mask stabiliser
Temperature / Duration:
134°C for at least 3min.
Info: Always use the mask stabil-
iser when sterilising because oth-
erwise it may lose its shape under
the effects of high temperatures.
For this purpose, follow the in-
structions for use of the mask sta-
biliser as well.
4. Visual inspection & storage
Check:
Inspect all individual parts. Replace any broken, misshapen or
seriously discoloured parts.
Storage location:
– dry
– dust-free
– protected from sources of contamination
