8 Troubleshooting
Fault Indication Cause Remedy
Poor Dewpoint Economy indicator is flashing. Over flow.
Check the pre-filter and condensate
drain.
Crystals in the humidity indicator turn
clear.
The flow is too high.
Compare the actual flowrate with the
rated flow for the dryer.
Check the air consumption.
Pressure too low. Check the technical specification
Inlet temperature is too high. Check the technical specification
Purge air flow is too low.
Purge air requires resetting at an
operating pressure of 6 barg
Blocked silencer
Replace the silencer
(Authorised service personnel)
Contaminated Desiccant
Remove the cause of contamination.
Replace the desiccant
(Authorised service personnel)
Electrical fault Fault indicator is flashing. Hardware fault Call authorised service personnel.
High differential pressure Pressure gauge. Flow too high Check the flow and adjust accordingly
No purge air
The dryer columns do not exhaust
fully.
Blocked or closed exhaust valve. Call authorised service personnel.
Poor dewpoint. Blocked silencers.
Pressure drop via an exhaust valve
Rapid pressure drop within the
system.
Faulty valve
Close the inlet and outlet ball valves
and disconnect the electrical supply.
Call authorised service personnel
immediately.
Fault indicator is flashing.
