2.2. Overview
The GVM motors from Parker are innovative solutions, specifically designed for Mobile
applications for Traction, Electro Hydraulic Pump (EHP) or Auxiliary functions.
The GVM motors are brushless synchronous servomotors, with permanent magnets, with a
Water-glycol or Oil cooling system and a resolver / encoder speed sensor.
The liquid cooling increases the torque density and allows a silent operation.
These motors can also be used in a Natural Convection mode if required with corresponding
performances.
As there is no current in the rotor, the losses in the rotor are very low.
