OPERATION AND USE
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ENGINE
Before operating the engine, be sure to read all instructions
carefully as injury or permanent damage to equipment may
occur.
Run the engine in a well ventilated area.
Ensure the appliance is at least one metre away from
building walls or other equipment.
Keeptheapplianceawayfromammableliquidssuchas
petrol.
Refuel in a well ventilated area with the engine switched off
andavoidsparksornakedames.
Whenrefuellingensurethatyoudonotoverllthefueltank.
If any fuel is spilled ensure it is deaned up thoroughly
before restarting.
Ensure the fuel cap Is located securely.
Theexhaustmufersgetveryhotandwillremainhotfor
sometime after the engine is switched off.
Ensure the appliance is cooled before transporting or
storing.
PRE-OPERATION INSPECTION
CAUTION:
Engine oil is a key factor in deciding the engine’s performance. Do not
use engine oil with additives or 2-stroke gasoline engine oil, as they do
not have enough lubricating properties, which may shorten the engine’s
service life.
Check the engine is on level ground.
SAE30isrecommendedforgeneralalltemperatureuse.
Remove the dipstick and clean it.
Reinsertthedipstickintotheoilllerwithoutscrewingitinand
check the oil level.
If the oil level is too low add the required amount of engine oil to
theoilllermark.
Replace the dipstick securely.
CAUTION:
Runningwithinsufcientengineoilmaydamagetheengineseverely.
