A good general rule is to visually inspect your swim spa and equipment area frequently. If anything looks
broken, worn, or incorrect, contact your electrician or spa retailer. A simple repair may prevent an injury or more
serious problems requiring expensive repairs. If your swim spa is not operang, check the following:
1.Nothingontheswimspaoperates
Check power source G.F.C.I. breaker. (or equivalent)
Check to assure spa has dedicated circuit.
Check the “test” and “reset” buons on G.F.C.I. (or equivalent)
Check internal fuses.
Review control panel for any error code. Refer to that secon of this manual.
2.Pumpdoesnotwork
Check all items above.
Check lter; clean or replace cartridge.
Check for blockages (restricons) at sucons, skimmer and pump.
Push “pump” buon(s) to check if high speed is funconing, on a dualspeed pump.
3.Inadequatejetacon
Make sure jets are turned on.
Make sure air controls are open.
Check for restricons (blockages) in jets and/or main skimmer and pump.
Check water level.
Push “pump” buon(s) to check if high speed is funconing on a dualspeed pump.
Check to be sure the diverter valve is in center posion.
Check for dirty lters and change if necessary.
4.Noheat
Check all steps under part “1”.
Check temperature sengs.
Check for clogged lter element and other restricons.
Check water level.
Check if pump is running.
5.Nolight
Check “light” buon.
Check G.F.C.I. (or equivalent) “test” and “reset” buons.
6.Wateriscloudy
Increase circulaon cycle.
Test water chemistry.
Clean/replace lter cartridge.
7.GFCIorequivalentistripping
A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) is required by the Naonal Electric Code for your protecon.
The tripping of the GFCI may be caused by a component on the spa or by an electrical problem.
Electrical problems include although are not limited to, a faulty GFCI breaker, spa component, power
uctuaons, or improper wiring. If this new electrical service and GFCI installaon, an instantly
tripping GFCI may likely be caused by improper wiring of the neutral from the GFCI to the spa. Contact
a qualied technician to recfy the problem.
