7.11. Autoscale
The function is applied to follow-up signals automatically even if the signals change at any time. Autoscale enables the
instrument to set up trigger mode, voltage division and time scale automatically according to the type, amplitude and
frequency of the signals.
The menu is as follows:
If you want to measure voltage, you can do as the follows:
1.) Press MENU, the function menu will appear on the right of the screen.
2.) Press MENU ▲ or MENU ▼ and choose Autoscale, three options will show at the bottom of the screen.
3.) Press F1 and choose ON.
4.) Press F2 and choose HORI-VERT.
5.) Press F3 and choose displays on the screen as figure 50:

Note: Things you should be ware when turning on Autoscale
1.) The symbol is flickering on the top left corner of screen every half second.
2.) The oscilloscope is setting Triggers automatically for the incoming signal based on its best approach.
Access from front panel to trigger controls is disabled. A warning message will be displayed on the bottom left
corner of the screen when trying to change submenus of Trigger controls.
3.) Oscilloscope is set as DC coupling with AUTO Triggering. A warning message is displayed when trying to change
these settings.
4.) The oscilloscope will turn off Autoscale if user is trying to adjust vertical position, voltage division, trigger level or
time scale. To back to Autoscale, Press AUTOSET.
5.) When you exit the Autoscale menu at Auto Scale is enabled, Autoscale is still enabled.
6.) When video triggering, the horizontal time scale is 50us. If one channel is showing edge signal, the other channel
is showing video one, the time scale refers to 50us as video one as standard.
