Separate Noises from the Signal
When analyze the waveform of a signal, you should remove the noise in it. For the reduction of the random
noise in the oscilloscope display, please operate the instrument according to the following steps:
1. Press the Acquire button to display the Acquire menu.
2. Press the H1 button to display ACQU Mode menu.
3. Press the F3 button, turn the M knob and observe the waveform obtained from averaging the waveforms
of different average number.
After the averaging, the random noise is reduced and the detail of the signal is easier to be observed. Shown
as follows, after the noise is removed, the burrs on the rising and falling edges appear (see Fig. 83).
