7.2 Replacing the fuse
Warning!
To avoid electric shock, disconnect the test leads before removing
the battery or the fuse. Replace only with the same type of battery
or fuse. Do not remove the top cover. Service should be
performed only by qualified individuals.
Warning!
For protection against fire or other hazard, replace only with fuse
of the specified voltage and current ranges.
Follow these steps to replace the fuse.
1. Press ON/OFF to turn off the meter and disconnect the test
leads.
2. Remove the battery compartment by unscrewing the 2
screws.
3. Remove the blown fuse.
4. Install a new fuse in a fuse compartment.
250 mA/1000 V; Ø 6,3 x 32 mm
10 A/1000 V; Ø 10,3 x 38 mm
5. Replace the battery compartment and secure it with the
screw.
Warning!
Do not operate your meter until the back cover is in place and fully
closed.
