      If the Mandatory Leak Test indicates a leak in your Pentair Water Filtration System, turn off the pool pump at the circuit breaker and ensure all flow to the unit has been stopped. Disassemble the unit. Ensure there are no cracks or breakages in the Quartz Sleeve, that the Quartz Sleeve Gasket is properly installed, and that the Quartz Sleeve Retaining Nut has been tightened down completely. Reassemble the Quartz Sleeve and repeat the Mandatory Leak Test until there are no indications of a leak.

      If the GFCI/breaker is tripping with your Pentair Water Filtration System, immediately disconnect power to the BioShield® UV. Also, turn off the pool pump at the circuit breaker and ensure all flow to the unit has stopped. Check for water/moisture inside the quartz sleeve. Multiple appliances connected to a circuit protected by one GFCI create the potential for cumulative leakage current resulting in a tripped GFCI.
