Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and carefully. They are
part of this product and contain important instructions relating to its
operationandhandling.Pleasealwaysobserveallsafetyinstructions.Before
initial operation, please check that all parts are fitted correctly. If you have
any questions or are unsure about handling of the device, please consult a
specialist.Pleasekeeptheseinstructions ina safeplace andpassthem onto
anyoneelseintendingtousethedevice.
Thisdoorintercom comprises anindoor andan outdoorunit.The indoor unit
generates a ring signal and is used to speak into, listen and to activate an
optionally connected standard 12 V DC door release (not included).
Installation of the indoor unit is only permitted indoors. The power must be
suppliedfrom the230 V~ 0Hz mainssupply. Connectionof astandard 12
VDCdoor release(not includedis possiblewitha twin-corecable withcoded
cores (not included). The outdoor unit is suitable for ringing the door bell,
speaking, listening and for flushmounted installation outside (entrance
area). The connection between the indoor and outdoor units can be made
with the twin-core cable (with coded cores, length max. 200 m) (not
included). Model DP 601 is for a single family house and includes one
outdoor and one indoor unit. Model DP 602 is for a two family house: the
outdoorunithastwobell buttonseach ofwhich enablesconnectionto oneof
thetwo includedindoor units.The installationlocationsmustbeprotectedor
equipped with a suitable cover (e.g. a permanently installed canopy). The
door intercomisintended forprivate useonly.Any otheruse ormodification
of the device constitutes improper use and poses a serious risk of accident.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use or
incorrectoperationofthedevice.
Thisapplianceis notintended tobe usedbypeople (includingchildren) with
restricted physical, sensory or mental capacities, or a lack of experience
and/orknowledge, unlesstheyaresupervisedby, orreceiveinstructions how
to use the appliance from, a person responsible for their safety. Children
must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
