Letting the Camera Choose the Optimal
Settings
This camera is equipped with a variety of functions. First, try to take
pictures using the simplest shooting mode.
Set the mode dial to .
In b (Auto Picture) mode, the camera selects the optimal
shooting mode for the subject.
Frame the subject using the focus frame on the display.
Press the 4 button to use the viewfinder.
Turn the zoom lever to change the captured area.
Right (5) Enlarges the subject.
Left (6) Widens the area that is captured by the
camera.
Press the shutter release button halfway.
The focus frame on the display turns green if the subject is in
focus.
When using the flash, press the b button to pop up the flash.
