Rotate counter-clockwise to unscrew the head cap from the gun barrel. Apply grease to new guns for easier loading.
Draw the handle back fully until the plunger rod locks into place. Be cautious when releasing the lock.
Apply a small amount of grease to the inside edge of the cartridge for easier insertion.
Push the grease cartridge into the barrel until the metal edge seals. Detach the flip-top seal.
Screw on the head cap loosely, release the plunger, and push it into the cartridge. Pump to release trapped air.
Once grease appears, fully tighten the head cap. Depress the lock release and push the plunger rod back.
Remove the gun head cap from the barrel before proceeding with suction filling.
Submerge the barrel's open end into grease, ensuring the plunger handle is fully depressed and submerged.
Pull back the plunger handle slowly. Loading is complete when the plunger rod is fully extended.
Reattach the gun head cap to the barrel. Depress the lock release and push the plunger rod back into the gun.
Ensure the filler valve is compatible with the pump's adapter before connecting.
Attach the filler valve to the pump adapter by pushing it in and rotating slightly.
Pump the handle while holding the gun firmly. The plunger handle will extend as grease fills the barrel.
Twist the gun to detach it from the pump. Depress the lock release and push the plunger rod back.
