How to fix Permobil Wheelchair that does not start?
    • J
      Jacob EdwardsAug 28, 2025
If your Permobil Wheelchair doesn't start, several factors could be at play. First, the batteries might be discharged, so try charging them. Another potential cause is a loose cable connection to the control panel; ensure the cable is securely inserted. Also, check if the main circuit breaker is turned off or has tripped; if it's off, turn it on, and if it has tripped, reset it once.

      Michaela SellersAug 30, 2025
If your Permobil Wheelchair won't drive, check these potential causes: * Make sure the battery charger is disconnected. * Ensure the wheelchair is not in freewheel mode; if it is, exit freewheel mode and restart the wheelchair. * Verify that the wheelchair is unlocked. * Confirm that a seat function hasn't triggered the automatic drive inhibit by ensuring the backrest and leg rest are not tilted and the seat is not tilted or lifted. * If the motors have become too warm, turn off the wheelchair and wait for them to cool down.
