5. Take out and install the double food tray.
Attach the double food tray to the notch underneath the
feeder base.
6. Install the meal splitter by aligning it with the round hole.
8. Plug in the feeder, and install 3 alkaline D size batteries
(not included) for backup.

7. How to remove the double food tray
To remove the bowl holder from the feeder base, move
the meal splitter away from the food outlet first.
