Prepare the Remote Trainer
To Insert and Remove the Battery
1. Remove the screws on the back of the Remote Trainer.
2. Insert the 9-volt alkaline battery.
3. Reinstall the screws. Do not over-tighten the screws.

To verify the battery has been inserted correctly, activate the Remote
Trainer by pressing the Positive Tone Button (P). The Remote Trainer
should beep and the Indicator Light should glow.
Battery Life
Under typical training conditions, the battery should last up to one year.
It is recommended that the battery be replaced on an annual basis to help
maintain optimal operation.
The Collarless Remote Trainer is powered by one 9-volt alkaline battery.
Do not use a carbon-zinc or rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery because
they will not provide enough current, resulting in a decreased range.
