      If your PetSafe receiver collar isn't beeping or administering a static correction, ensure the transmitter is plugged into a working 120-volt outlet, turned on, and the power light is on, with the transmitter controls set to your desired settings. Also, check the receiver battery to ensure it's installed correctly, and when replacing the battery, do so within 5 feet of the transmitter. You may also need to re-synchronize the system.
