bring
take-up
lever
to
its
highest
position
before
you
begin
.

you

Whenever
you
have
to
turn
the
balance
wheel,
turn
it
toward
you
(counter-clockwise
as
shown
by
black
arrow).
•
Make
sure
stop
motion
knob
on
the
balance
wheel
is
tightened
before
you
begin
sewing.
•
Never
run
a
threaded
machine
unless
you
have
fabric
under
the
sewing
foat.
•
Place
both
threads
back
under
the
sewing
foot
before
you
put
fabric
into
the
machine.
Failure
to
observe
this
rule
may
cause
the
thread
to
slip
out
of
the
needle
eye.
Also,
it
is
easier
to
remove
the
work
with
the
take-up
lever
up.
