What to do if Pfeiffer Vacuum Water Pump pumping station will not start up?
- WWillie DavisAug 2, 2025
If your Pfeiffer Vacuum Water Pump pumping station won't start and none of the LEDs on the DCU illuminate, there are several potential causes. First, check the supply lines to the pumping station to ensure there's no interruption. Then, verify the 24 V DC output voltage at the “DC out” connection of the built-in power supply pack. Also, check the plug contacts on the power supply pack and the connection cable between the power supply pack, backing pump, and turbopump. It could also be due to incorrect operating voltage, so check the rating plate specifications and supply the correct voltage. If there's no operating voltage present, connect it. Finally, the electronic drive unit might be defective, in which case it should be replaced according to the turbopump operating instructions.
