• The electronic drive unit TC 400 operates designated Pfeiffer Vacuum turbo-
pumps and their accessories.

3 Product description
3.1 Product identification
Product features The electronic drive unit TC 400 is an integrated component of the turbopump. It's
purpose is to drive, monitor and control the entire pump.
To correctly identify the product when communicating with Pfeiffer Vacuum, al-
ways have the information from the rating plate available.
3.2 Range of application
Pfeiffer Vacuum electronic drive units TC 400 must be installed and operated in the
following ambient conditions.

The product is sealed at the factory. Damaging or removal of the seal leads to the loss
of liability and warranty entitlements.
Do not open the product within its warranty period!
