  The airflow might be warmer than usual because the air filters may be dirty, or the device may be operating in direct sunlight or near a heater. Try rinsing or replacing the reusable air filter, or replace the disposable ultra-fine filter. Ensure the device is properly ventilated and away from bedding or curtains that could block airflow. Also, keep it away from direct sunlight and heating equipment. If the problem continues, contact your home care provider.

  The water in the humidifier tank might run out before morning because the humidifier water tank was not full at the start of the session, there's excessive mask leak, or the ambient conditions are very dry/cool. Under most conditions, a full humidifier water tank should last for a typical sleep session. Make sure the humidifier water tank is filled to the maximum fill line at the start of your sleep session. Check that your mask is fitted properly, and adjust as needed to reduce mask leak to normal levels.

What to do if I hear a leak or whistling sound coming from my PHILIPS Respironics Respiratory Product?

  If you hear a leak or whistling sound (not related to mask leak), the therapy device air inlet may be obstructed, the tube is not fully connected, or the humidifier seals are not fully seated or are missing. Check that the therapy device air inlet is not obstructed and that filters are free of debris and properly inserted. Confirm that the device, humidifier water tank, and tube are connected properly and are not leaking. Confirm that the water tank lid seal is present and properly seated.
