      Charles KingSep 4, 2025

Why does my Philips AC3829/10 produce a strange smell?
    • L
      Lance RosarioSep 3, 2025
If your Philips Air Cleaner produces a strange smell, it could be normal if it's a plastic smell during the first few uses. If it smells burnt, contact your Philips dealer or an authorized service center. If the filter smells, remove it and place it in direct sunlight with ventilation for several hours, then reinstall it. If the odor persists, replace the filter.

    • X

If the router your Philips Air Cleaner is connected to is dual – band and currently it is not connecting to a 2.4GHz network, please switch to another band of the same router (2.4GHz) and try to pair your purifier again. Check if the purifier is within range of the Wi-Fi router. You can try to locate the air purifier closer to the Wi-Fi router. Also, check if the network name and the Wi-Fi password are correct. The network name and the password are case-sensitive. The Wi-Fi connectivity can be interrupted by electromagnetic or other interferences. Keep the appliance away from other electronic devices that may cause interferences. Check if the mobile device is in airplane mode and make sure to have the airplane mode deactivated when connecting to the Wi-Fi network.

What to do if my Philips AC3829/10 won't turn on?
    • J
      Jared PerezAug 27, 2025
If your Philips Air Cleaner does not work even though it is plugged in, it may be locked because the filter replacement light has been flashing and the NanoProtect filter hasn't been replaced. Replace the filter and reset the filter lifetime counter. Alternatively, the water refill light may be flashing, indicating that the water tank is not properly installed or does not have enough water. Ensure the water tank is correctly installed and filled with sufficient water.

What to do if Wi-Fi setup fails on Philips Air Cleaner?
    • M
      mcfarlandkellyAug 27, 2025
If the Wi-Fi setup for your Philips Air Cleaner is unsuccessful, first ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz network if your router is dual-band, as 5GHz networks are not supported. Check that the purifier is within range of the Wi-Fi router; try moving it closer. Verify that the network name and Wi-Fi password are correct, noting that both are case-sensitive. Also, keep the appliance away from other electronic devices that may cause interferences and ensure your mobile device is not in airplane mode. If the issue persists, retry the setup.
