Install battery
Caution
• Risk of explosion! Keep batteries away from heat, sunshine or re.
Never discard batteries in re.
• Risk of product damage! When the apparatus is not used for long
periods, remove the battery.
• Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed
of properly.
1 Open the battery compartment.
2 Insert 4 x 1.5 V R14/UM2/C batteries (not supplied) with
correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
3 Close the battery compartment.
Tip
• When the main unit is powered by batteries, the backlight turns on
for 5 seconds after any operation.
