Option 4: Using Component
video socket
If your TV accepts progressive scan
signals, connect the recorder to your TV
using the component video sockets in
order to enjoy the progressive scan
feature.

Connect the component video cables
(red/ blue/green - not supplied) from the
Y PB PR sockets on the recorder to the
corresponding component video input
sockets (usually labelled as Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr
or YUV) on the TV.

If your TV accepts Progressive Scan
signal, see the chapter “Setup Menu
Options – Video Settings – { Video
Output }” for Progressive Scan set-up.
IMPORTANT!
The progressive scan video quality is
only available through a Y Pb Pr
connection and a progressive scan
TV is required. It is strongly advised
to complete the recorder
installation rst, before enabling the
progressive scan feature.
