Protecting the title
You can protect the recorded title in
order to prevent accidental loss of
recordings.
A
In title edit menu, use ST keys to select
{ Protect } and press OK.
A con rmation message appears.

Select { OK } in the menu to proceed or
{ Cancel } to abort, then press OK to
con rm.
To unprotect a title,
In title edit menu, use ST keys to select
{ Unprotect } and press OK.
A con rmation message appears.
Unprotect the title if you want to erase
or edit the title.

Accessing the disc edit menu
The disc edit menu allows you to erase
all recordings and prepare a disc for
playback on other DVD players.
A
Press DISC to access the disc menu.
B
Use STWX keys to select any title
(except an empty title) and press OK.
The editing menu appears.

Use ST keys to select { Disc } and
press OK.

Erasing all recordings
This option allows you to delete all
unprotected titles on the recordable DVD
disc.
A
In disc edit menu, use ST keys to select
{ Erase } and press OK.
A con rmation message appears.
B
To proceed, select { OK } in the menu
and press OK to con rm.
To abort, select { Cancel } and press
OK.
