Silencing, Acknowledging, and Pausing Alarms
4-14 EarlyVue VS30 Instructions for Use
For most technical alarms, the alarm audio is permanently silenced but the visual
alarm indicators remain until the alarm condition is resolved.
The technical alarm for an extremely low battery sounds again after 60 seconds.
For the following technical alarms, the alarm is acknowledged and both the auditory
and visual alarms are dismissed:
- SpO2 Non-Pulsatile
- SpO2 Sensor Off Patient
- SpO2 No Sensor
- PulseOx Cable Not Connected
- PulseOx Sensor Not Connected
- PulseOx Adhesive Sensor Not Connected
- PulseOx Sensor Off Patient
- RRa Cable Not Connected
- RRa Sensor Not Connected
- RRa Sensor Off Patient
- NBP technical alarms
- pTemp in Predictive mode (including temporary monitored mode due to 1-minute
timeout) technical alarms
- Temporal Temperature technical alarms
- CO2 No Tubing
- Recorder Alarms
- Dashboard Alarms
- Wireless Malfunction
- Touch Screen Malfunction
- Loss of Monitoring
- Cable Life Near Expiration
- Check Cable and Sensor Fault
- Sensor Life Near Expiration
- RRa Sensor Not Connected
- Configuration Update Failed
- Software Upgrade Failed
Notes:
If the active alarm is a latched alarm and the condition that triggered it no longer
exists, touching the Acknowledge Alarm button ends both the auditory and visual
alarms,
When an alarm is silenced, the nurse call signal for that alarm condition is dismissed.
