Using Interval and Continuous Monitoring Mode with EWS and IGS
12-10 EarlyVue VS30 Instructions for Use
Notes:
You can view the EWS recommended actions again by opening the record and
touching the EWS button at the lower right of the expanded record.
If the export to the EMR system fails, the indicator turns blue. See “Patient Record
Colors” on page 3-16
Using Interval and Continuous Monitoring Mode with EWS and IGS
If you are operating in Interval or Continuous monitoring mode (unattended records), you
can still use EWS with IGS to take an attended measurement and display an Early
Warning Score (EWS). The score is sent to IGS.
During Interval or Continuous monitoring, early warning scores are not calculated when
vital signs measurements are taken automatically. To generate early warning scores, you
must touch the Save Now button on the main screen while you are at the bedside.
For general information about Interval and Continuous monitoring modes, see
“Monitoring Mode Menu” on page 2-18.
Troubleshooting IGS

problem by symptom, lists possible causes and suggests an action. If you cannot resolve
a problem by using the following table, or if the table does not list the problem you are
