use the on-screen keyboard to enter patient information.

with the VS30 monitor.
Using a Non-programmed Barcode Scanner
If your barcode scanner is not pre-programmed, it reads individual barcodes one at a
time. The monitor prompts you to scan each barcode in sequence. The prompts appear in
red at the lower left of the New Patient Menu. The scanned information is transferred to
the highlighted patient information field on the monitor. When the monitor prompts you
to scan a patient information barcode, you need to know which barcode corresponds
with the highlighted patient information field.
