Add and verify a DICOM server:
Press Support and click Network/DICOM DICOM Settings.
Under DICOM Services Configuration, click Add.
In the Add DICOM Device dialog box, select the server type from
the Device Type list.
On the Device Type menu, select a DICOM server type, or enter
the server type from the keyboard.
Note: All query/retrieve devices are of type “DICOM Storage Server.”
Configure the device by entering the following required
information:
Device Name
AE Title (case sensitive)
Port Number
Network Address
Click Advanced Settings, and if needed you can adjust file
compression, image quality, and other parameters.
Confirm the advanced server settings and Save.
To verify the server automatically you can choose: Automatically
Perform DICOM Verification After Saving.
Note: The query-retrieval device must verify “Study Root
Query/Retrieve-Find” and “Study Root Query/Retrieve-Move” for
query retrieval to work properly. The PACS Service Class User Device
(SCU) does not need to be verified.
Click Save.
To exit SupportConnect, touch Done.
Select a Server for Use and Edit Server Settings
To assign a server for each of the aquire options:
Press Support.
Click Network/DICOM DICOM Settings.
Query/Retrieve (Q/R) is a
DICOM service used to
search for images on the
PACS and display them on
the workstation.
When configuring a PACS
device for query/retrieval,
you must verify the device
before exiting the setups.
To verify the device, click
Verify. It is important to
check the verification
display to be sure the
device and the PACS have
communicated
successfully.
