to check the sound level for Front Left, Front Right,
Center and Surround speakers respectively.
CENTER +/-
to adjust the sound level of the center speaker.
¤ REAR +/-
to adjust the sound level of the surround speakers.
BALANCE L/R
to balance the sound level of the Front Left and
Right speakers.
SHUFFLE
to play all the available discs and their tracks in
random order.
REPEAT
to repeat a CD track.
TIMER ON/OFF
to switch on or off timer.
PTY SEARCH
(program type)
to search a RDS radio station using program type.

to switch the system to standby mode.
Notes for remote control:
First select the source you wish to control by pressing
one of the source select keys on the remote control
(e.g. CD, TUNER, TAPE 1/2, AUX/DVD or TV/VCR).
Then select the desired function (PLAY, NEXT, etc.).
Inserting batteries into the Remote
Control
Insert the batteries (Type R06,
UM3 or AA) into the remote
control as shown in the battery
compartment.
To avoid damage from possible
battery leakage, remove dead
batteries or batteries that will not be used for a long
time. For replacement, use type R06, UM3 or AA
batteries.
