Sound and Volume Controls
Sound control
Adjusting volume and sound (on the set
only)
1 Tu rn the VOLUME -/+ control knob to
decrease or increase volume on the system.
2 Press down DBB ON/OFF to switch bass
enhancement on or press it again to release it
and switch bass enhancement off.
Note:
–For DTS discs, only sound output through the
Digital Out jack is available (no sound output to
the speakers).
Microphone Mixing
Connect microphones (not supplied) to the
system to sing along with the music source.
1 Connect microphones to MIC IN jack.
Before connecting the microphone, set the
microphone level to a lower level to prevent
howling sound by turning the MIC VOL -/+
knob.
2 Select DISC to start playback.
3 Adjust the volume level of the source with the
VOLUME
/+ control.
4 Start singing or talking through the microphone.
5 Press KEY b/# on the remote to select key
tone if necessary.
Notes:
–Keep the microphones away from the speakers
to prevent howling.
Microphone mixing is only available in VCD/DVD
mode.
Key Control
This feature allows you to change the key tone
of your vocal range.
Press KEY b/# on the remote control to
decrease or increase the vocal key level between
-7 and +7.
Switching off the volume temporarily
(for DISC mode only)
Press MUTE.
MUTEis displayed on the display screen and
is displayed on the TV screen.
To cancel the MUTE mode:
Press MUTE again.
