The reference marks inside the co ee bean hopper indicate the grind set-
ting. There are 5 di erent grind settings to choose, from position 1 (
) for
coarse grind - lighter taste to position 2 (
) for  ne grind - stronger taste.

Make sure that the “ ” green light shines steadily and that the water
tank and co ee bean hopper are full.
Press the "
" espresso co ee button; the co ee grinder starts grind-
ing.
Note:
Use the co ee grinder adjustment key provided with the machine. You will
taste the di erence after brewing 2-3 cups of co ee. If co ee is watery or is
brewed slowly, change the co ee grinder settings.

While the co ee grinder is operating, press and turn the grinder adjust-
ment knob inside the co ee bean hopper one notch at a time.
Warning:
Do not turn the coff ee grinder more than one notch at the time to
prevent damage.

When adjusting has been completed, put the lid back on the co ee
bean hopper.
