• Only use the original
Philips lter specially
intended for this humidier.
Do not use any other lter.
• Avoid knocking any parts
of the humidier with hard
objects.
• Do not ll water into the
air outlets on top of the
humidier.
• Locate the humidier on
an inside wall, near an
electrical outlet, at least
4in./10cm away from the
wall. Do not direct moisture
ow directly at individuals,
walls or furniture.
• Place the humidier
properly to prevent
children from knocking
it over or tripping on the
power cord.
• Do not use the humidier
in a room with major
temperature changes,
as this may cause
condensation inside the
humidier.
• If the humidier will not
be used for a long period
of time, unplug from the
electrical outlet, clean
the reservoir and lter
(see section ‘Clean your
humidier’).
• Do not use this humidier
when you have used
indoor smoke-type insect
repellents or in places
with oily residues, burning
incense, or chemical
fumes.
Caution
• A loose t between the
AC outlet (receptacle)
and plug may cause
overheating and a
distortion of the humidier
plug. Contact a qualied
electrician to replace loose
or worn outlet.
• Place the humidier on a

surface that is not sensitive
to humidity. Do not place
the humidier on any
wooden furniture, or on
or near electronics or any
other electrical appliance.
• Do not place anything on
top of the humidier and
do not sit on the humidier.

humidier is assembled/
connected properly after

remove the upper cover
and/or reservoir for relling.
