6 Press the ‘lash button to release a ‘lash.You should ‘eel a warm
sensation because o‘ the ‘lash.
Note:The li’ht produced by the device is harmless to your eyes. It is not
necessary to wear ’o’’les durin’ use. Use the device in a well-lit
roomso that the li’ht is less ’larin’ to your eyes.
7 Place the device on the next area to be treated. A‘ter each ‘lash, it takes
up to 3.5 seconds until the device is ready to ‘lash a’ain. You can release
a ‘lash when the 'ready to ‘lash' li’ht li’hts up a’ain.
8 To make sure that you have treated all areas, release the ‘lashes close to
each other. E‘‘ective li’ht only comes out o‘ the li’ht exit window,
there‘ore there should be some overlap.However, make sure you ‘lash
the same area only once. Flashin’ the same area twice doesn't improve
the e‘‘ectiveness o‘ the treatment, but increases the risk o‘ skin reactions.
9 When you have ‘inished the treatment, press and hold the on/o‘‘ button
‘or 2 seconds to switch o‘‘ the device.
Two treatment modes: Stamp & Flash and Slide & Flash
YourPhilips Lumea has two treatment modes ‘or more convenient use on
di‘‘erent body areas:

The Stamp & Flash mode is ideal to treat small orcurvy areas like knees
and underarms. Simply press and releasethe ‘lash button to release a
sin’le ‘lash.

The Slide & Flash mode o‘‘ers convenient use on lar’er areas like le’s.
Keep the ‘lash button pressed while you slide the device over your
skinto release several ‘lashes in a row.
Recommended treatment schedule
Initial phase
For the ‘irst 4 to 5 treatments, we advise you to use Philips Lumea once
every two weeks to ensure that all hairs are treated.
