– to start recording or synchronise the CD
recording on tape deck 2.

for CD ................. to programme disc tracks.
for Tuner ............. to programme preset radio
stations.
for Tape ............... to select the desired auto
reverse playback modes on tape
deck 2 ( å / ç / ∫ ).
$ DIM
– to select different brightness for the display
screen : DIM 1, DIM 2, DIM 3 or DIM OFF.
– to reset tape counter number.
% DISC CHANGE
– to change disc(s).
^ OPEN•CLOSE
– to open or close the disc tray.
& NEWS•TA
– to hear News or Traffic Announcement
automatically.
* RDS (DISPLAY)
– to select RDS information.
( DISC 1/2/3 (CD DIRECT 1/2/3)
– to select a disc tray for playback.

– to view the current status of the system.
™ REPEAT
– to playback track(s)/disc(s)/programme
repeatedly.
£ SHUFFLE
– to playback all available discs and their tracks/
programme in random order.

– to activate/deactivate or set the sleep timer.
∞ SIDE
– to change tape side on tape deck 2.
§ BALANCE L/R
– to balance the sound level of the front left and
right speakers.
≥ MUTE
– to interrupt or resume sound reproduction.
• TIMER
– to activate or deactivate the timer.

– to switch the system to standby mode.

– First, select the source you wish to
control by pressing one of the source select
keys on the remote control (CD or TUNER,
