Recording
• lnsert a cassette in the cassette compartment @.
• Unlock the rocker switch

by
pushing the locking
button
0 upwards.
• Depress the record button
0 and the upper part
of
the rocker switch
CD
at
the same time. The tape begins
to move and you can start recording. Speak into the mi-
crophone/loudspeaker at the front
of
the machine from
a distance of about 5 cm

).
The recording level is au-
tomatically adjusted. Previous recordings are erased
by
a
new
recording.
• To stop recording, return the rocker switch
CD
to the
rest position.

To
resume recording, depress the upper part
of
the
rocker switch

• Having finished recording, briefly depress the lower
part of the rocker switch
CD
and release it immediately
This action disengages the record button

• After use, lock the rocker switch
by
pushing the lock-

Checking the recording
• To check the recording, depress the lower part of the
rocker switch
CD.
The
tape will
now
be rewound for as
long as the switch
is
held depressed. The record button

automatically disengaged.
• Depress the upper part of the rocker switch
CD
again.
The recording
is
now reproduced through the micro-
phone/loudspeaker. The level of sound
is
adjustable
with the volume control

can resume recording
after depressing the record button

Correcting a recording
• Depress the lower part of the rocker switch
CD
and
rewind the tape.

• Depress the upper part of the rocker switch
CD
and
listen until the relevant part is reached.
• Then depress the record button
0 and record the
correct text over the original passage.
Recording conferences
• Remove the cap from socket

• lnsert the plug of the
LFH
0030 conference micro-
phone in socket
G).
• Place the microphone in the centre of the discussion
table.
• Depress the record button 0 and the upper part of
the rocker switch

at
the same time.
• T o stop recording, brie fly de press the lower part
of
the rocker switch
CD.
N.B. When listening to the record-
ing the microphone plug must be removed.
Recording telephone conversation:.;
• Remove the cap from socket
G).
• lnsert the plug of the
LFH
0116 telephone coil (not
available in Great Britain) in socket
G).
• Moisten the suction cap
of
the telephone coil and
press it on the telephone. (A few test recordings should
be
made to determine the best place for the cap.)
• Depress the record button
0 and the upper part
of
the rocker switch
CD
at
the same lime.
• To stop recording, briefly depress the lower part
of
the rocker switch

Fast erasing
Confidential recordings can be quickly erased
by
de-
pressing the record button
0 and the lower part
of
the
rocker switch
CD
and keeping them depressed for as
long
as
you
wish to erase.
