4.2 Recharge

4.4 Connecting to a computer
There are two ways to recharge:
Directly connect the device with PC or through USB cable.
Use the specified charger to charge the device.
The device can be used as a USB mass storage to
conveniently store, back up and move files. Directly link
the device to a computer or with a USB cable. The voice
recorder can automatically be recognized as a mass storage
device without the need to install any software.
Do not disconnect the device from the computer while
files are transferred from or to the device. This may
damage or corrupt the files.
While the device is connected to a computer, it cannot
be operated manually.

Note
When using the above methods to recharge, the device will
be in the state of recharging. The battery indicator shows a
battery icon turning from empty to full repeatedly, indicating
that the device is recharging. Under normal circumstance, the
device can be fully recharged in around 3 hours.
The keypad lock deactivates all keys on the device. The timer
function of the device continues to function.
1 Slide the Power/Hold switch up into the
position to lock
the keypad of the device.

The lock symbol appears on the display.
2 Slide the Power/Hold switch down to the Off position to
disengage the HOLD.
