4.6 CVs Read out
Reading-out the decoder is not a programming option, but it is an essential feature
for checking the programmed settings. The Navigator supports this read-out
procedure which helps to easily check the individual settings. You will nd the
corresponding information in the operating manual of your digital control unit.
Press the key

of your Navigator to enter the main menu. Select “Decoder
Progr.” by pressing

and conrm by pressing

. Select “Read-out CV” by

and conrm by pressing

to enter the CV Programming menu. You
can now select the “CV No.” by entering the respective number (e.g. 32). Now enter
the requested “Value” and conrm it by pressing
M2

, you will return to the Navigator’s regular mode of function.
4.7 Resetting CVs:
By assigning the value 55 (addresses) and 77 (special functions) to CV7, you
can restore the default settings. This only works in the programming mode “CV
programming”.
