BASIC
OPERATION
Changing
discs
during
playback
Selecting
the
playing
mode
This
unit
lets
you
change
up
to
75
discs
without
interrupting
playback,
but
please
be
aware
of
the
following
points
@
Donot
press
the
Rack
EJECT
(4)
button
in
the
following
situations.
1,
When
one
of
the
discs
in
that
Rack
is
playing
back.
2.
If
less
than
ten
seconds
has
elapsed
since
the
end
of
disc
search
or
playback
®
You
can
determine
which
Racks
cannot
be
opened
from
the
following
two
displays.
1,
PLAY
INDICATOR*
While
the
PLAY
INDICATOR
is
blinking:
One
of
the
Racks
cannot
be
opened
even
when
its
EJECT
(4)
button
is
pressed.
The
blinking
sequence
of
the
PLAY
INDICATOR
indicator
the
Rack
number
which
cannot
be
opened.
Example:
When
Rack
2
cannot
be
opened

displayed),
any
Rack
can
be
opened.
NOTE

Donotpress
the
EJECT
(&)
button
of
the
Rack
which
cannot
be
opened.
if
you
press
it
by
mistake,
push
the
Rack
back
to
its
original
position.
Do
not
force
a
Rack
which
cannot
be
opened,
otherwise
a
matfunction
will
result.

This
also
functions
as
PLAY
indicator
and
STANDBY
indicator.
In
the
standby
mode,
this
indicator
lights
up.

selected
during
playback,

SINGLE
mode
playback

carried
out
from
the
disc
being
played.

turned
on,
playback
starts
with
the
last
selected
mode.
if
less
than
100discs
are
loaded
in
the
playback
mode,
this
unit
does
not
recognize
a
disc
when
the
disc
is
not
inserted
into
the
Rack
or
the
disc
is
placed
with
the
label
surface
facing
the
wrong
way.
In
this
case,
the display
(below)
will
appear
for
about
3
seconds
in
the
front
panel.
Once
this
information
is
stored
in
memory,
the
next
disc
will
be
played
back
in
the
ALL
mode,
but
no
disc
will
be
played
back
in
the
SINGLE
made.
