CONNECTIONS

Before
making
or
changing
the
connections,
switch
off
the
power
switch
and
disconnect
the
power
cord
from
the
AC
outlet.

When
connecting
or
changing
the
components,
re-
move
all
discs
from
the
rack
and
set
the
power
switch
to
OFF,
then
disconnect
the
power
cord
from
its
out-
let.

Before
using
this
unit,
be
sure
to
follow
these
in-
structions
to
connect
the
unit
correctly.
@
Set
the
antenna
apart
from
the
unit
in
a
place
where
it
does
not
come
into
contact
with
metal
objects.
The
antenna
should
be
installed
as
far
away
as
possible
from
personal
computers
and
television
sets.
1.
Connect
the
speaker
cords
to
the
SPEAKERS
terminal.
Connect
the
red
cords
to
the
@
(red)
terminals,
and
the
black
cords
to
the
©
(black)
terminals.
@
Twist
the
wire
strands.

Speaker
impedance
Connect
speaker
systems
with
a
nominal
impedance
ranging
from
8
to
16

away
the
tab

Pull
back
the
tab.
and
insert
the
cord
Be
sure
to
tighten
into
the
terminal.

Connect
the
accessory
AM
loop
antenna.
Assemble
the
AM
loop
antenna,
open
the
antenna
terminal
lever,
and
insert
the
end
of
the
antenna
wire
into
the
antenna
terminal.
Open
the
lever
and
insert
the
end
of
the
wire
to
the
terminal.
Return
lever
to
original
position.
3.
Connect
the
FM
T-type
antenna.
Stretch
tje
antenna
and
affix
it
to
a
wall,
etc.
