How to troubleshoot Pioneer XV-DV575 with no sound but normal picture?
    • J
      John MejiaAug 13, 2025
If you have picture but no sound, check the waveform (ALCK: IC201-pin 231), (ALRCK: IC201-pin 227), (ABCK : IC201-pin 230), (ASDATA0/1/2: IC201-pin 226/225/223). Also, check the waveform (ASPDIF: IC201-pin 215) on the 08 DVDM Assy DVD IC (IC201).

What to do if Pioneer XV-DV575 Receiver playback stops?
    • P
      portermichelleAug 20, 2025
If the playback stops, it could be due to several reasons: * The 650-nm LD may have deteriorated. If the voltage at both ends of R322 and R325 on the 08 DVDM Assy is 0.4 V or more, the 650-nm LD is definitely deteriorated. * Alternatively, the 780-nm LD may be deteriorating. If the voltage at each both ends of R321 and R326 on the 08 DVDM Assy is 0.4 V or more, the 780-nm LD is definitely deteriorated. (When playback of a CD is impossible) * Check the disc for scratches or dirt.

Why is there picture disturbance during Pioneer XV-DV575 playback (block noise, freeze, other)?
    • M
      milesmartinAug 25, 2025
Picture disturbances during playback may arise from: * Scratches or dirt on the disc or a problem with the disc's format. * Issues with the video signals. Check the composite video signal (IC401-pin 23), S video signal (IC401-pin 21, pin 26), and RGB video signal (IC401-pin 16, pin 18, pin 20) on the 08 DVDM Assy DVD IC (IC201) Video IC (IC401).

How to resolve Pioneer XV-DV575 playback impossible issue when the spindle does not turn?
    • J
      Jessica OwensSep 4, 2025
If playback is impossible because the spindle isn't turning, check the following: * Verify the signals output from IC101-pin 12 (MOT_SPDL–) and pin 11 (MOT_SPDL+) on the 08 DVDM Assy. Confirm that pin 21 (STBY) is fixed LOW (pin 21 is High at playback: 3 V). The suggested solution is 08 DVDM Assy FTS Driver IC (IC101). * Inspect the spindle motor for detached parts or foreign objects. The suggested solution is Mechanism section (Spindle motor). * Check the wires of CN964 on the 08 DVDM Assy for disconnections or damage. The suggested solution is Flexible cable / connector. * Check the signal output from IC201-pin 36 (DMSO) on the 08 DVDM Assy. The suggested solution is 08 DVDM Assy DVD IC (IC201).

How to fix Pioneer XV-DV575 when the power is not turned on?
    • A
      Andrew ChanSep 8, 2025
If the power is not turning on, check the following: * Ensure that the wires of the output connector (POWER SUPPLY Unit) and CN968 (08 DVDM Assy) are connected and not damaged; suggested solution: Connector / cable. * Verify that the following voltage is output: CN968-pin 24 or pin 25 (08 DVDM Assy): 3.3 V; suggested solution: POWER SUPPLY Unit.

What to do if opening screen is not displayed on Pioneer Receiver?
    • S
      Samantha HansenNov 15, 2025
If the opening screen isn't displayed (but the FL display lights and the mechanism doesn't work), consider these potential causes: * Check if the signals are output from IC201-pin 97 (MDATA) and pin 98 (SCLK) on the 08 DVDM Assy, ensuring they are in the range of 0 - 3 V. The suggested solution is 08 DVDM Assy DVD IC (IC201). * Verify the signals input into IC5501-pin 50 (MDATA) and pin 51 (SCLK) on the SYSMAIN Assy, ensuring they are in the range of 0 - 3V. The suggested solution is SYSMAIN Assy UCOM (IC5501). * Check that the voltage output is: Q1302-collector on the SYSMAIN Assy: 5V. The suggested solution is POWER SUPPLY Unit / SYSMAIN Assy Q1302. * Check if a resonator (X201: 27 MHz) on the 08 DVDM Assy is oscillating. The suggested solution is 08 DVDM Assy Crystal resonator ...

What to do if Pioneer Receiver tray cannot be opened? (An opening screen is displayed on the monitor)
    • D
      Deborah MarshallNov 27, 2025
If the tray cannot be opened, consider the following: * Check if the voltage of CN965-pin 3 and pin 5 on the 08 DVDM Assy changes normally. Pin 3 (CLOSE (TRIN)): Tray is fully closed: "L" Pin 5 (OPEN (TROUT)): Tray is fully opened: "L". It might be a problem with DVD MECHA Assy Switch (SW1). * Verify the signal input into IC101-pin 1 (TROPEN) on the 08 DVDM Assy. It should be 3.3 V when open and 0 V when closed. The suggested solution is 08 DVDM Assy DVD IC (IC201). * Check the signals output from CN965-pin 5 and pin 4 on the 08 DVDM Assy. Pin 5: Approx. 5 V during opening tray approx. 1 V during closing tray. Pin 4: Approx. 0 V during opening tray approx. 6 V during closing tray. The suggested solution is 08 DVDM Assy FTS Driver IC (IC101). * Inspect the wires of CN964 and CN965 ...

How to fix Pioneer Receiver when playback is impossible (no focusing)?
    • J
      Jennifer ButlerDec 1, 2025
If playback is impossible due to lack of focus, consider these potential causes: * Check the signals output from IC101-pin 16 (F+) and pin 15 (F–) on the 08 DVDM Assy. The suggested solution is 08 DVDM Assy FTS Driver IC (IC101). * Confirm that the 650-nm LD emits light, the pickup lens moves up/down, and the actuator spring bends. The suggested solution is Pickup. * Inspect the mechanism for damaged plastic parts, detached shafts, or a detached/tilted turntable. The suggested solution is Mechanism section (motor). * Examine the flexible cable of CN965 on the 08 DVDM Assy for disconnections or damage. The suggested solution is Flexible cable / connector. * Check the signal output from IC201-pin 41 (FOSO) on the 08 DVDM Assy. Device control of about 1.4 V is output usually. It is...
