Start Switch
A rotary-type key switch, located on the main switch panel, controls starter
operation. The switch is labeled 0-START. In the “0” position, the starter is
electrically isolated. When the master switch ON, rotating the switch to the
spring loaded START position energizes the starter. The switch automatically
returns to the initial position when released.
7.6.4 ENGINE MONITORING INSTRUMENTS
The aircraft is equipped with electronic engine instrumentation, which is part
of the PFD/MFD.
NOTE: For additional information on instrument limit markings, refer to Sec-
tion 2.4 - Limitations.
A Data Acquisition Unit (Dynon EMS - Engine Monitoring Module), mounted
inside the instrument panel, converts analog signals from the coolant tem-
perature, EGT, MAP, oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel pressure, fuel flow,
voltage, amperage and tachometer sensors to digital format, which are
then transmitted to the MFD and/or PFD for display.
