trical power will be supplied to the avionics equipment, regardless of the
position of the master switch or the individual equipment switches.
For normal operations, the AVIONICS switch should be placed in the OFF
position prior to activating the MASTER switches, or applying an external
power source.
BCKP SW switch
The battery backup switch is used to connect the Engine Control Unit to the
main battery in case of double generator failure. See Emergency procedures
for additional details.
7.8.5 WARNING LIGHTS
LANE warning Light
The two LANE warning lights (see switch panel description for location infor-
mation) are ON for three seconds during engine start-up and should be OFF
during normal operations.

Battery caution Light (if applicable)
The Earth X battery has an integrated battery management system (BMS)
that detects any malfunctions (see section 3 – emergency procedures for
additional details). Cautions are either displayed on the PFD/MFD or indicat-
ed by a flashing LED light installed on the switch panel.

Instrument Panel

Switch Panel
A switch panel located in the “dash board” bolster below the flight instru-
ments contains the master switch, avionics power switch, LANE and pumps
switches, lighting switches and circuit breakers.
